Interreligious Insight: A Journal of Dialogue and Engagement is a joint venture of three groups, the World Congress of Faiths (Oxford, UK) -- one of the oldest of the international interreligious organizations, the Interreligious Engagement Project (US) -- one of the newest, and Common Ground -- a Chicago-area adult education organization.
The journal is published four times each year, with 90+ pages of refreshing, stimulating, controversial, and groundbreaking inquiry, analysis, interviews, photos, art work, reviews, sacred sites, and much more.
The journal is the successor to the respected journal World Faiths Encounter, published by the World Congress of Faiths for many years. The intended audience includes academics, interested individuals and practitioners of dialogue and engagement at organizational and local levels.
We believe that this new journal serves an increasing need for a quality production that reflects both the challenging dialogue between the religions at philosophical and theological levels and the practical engagement between religious people working and reflecting together for a more just, peaceful and sustainable world.
The journal combines several interests: learned articles, spirituality, reflection on practical projects, significant news and developments from international interreligious organizations, extended reflections on significant books, book reviews, film and website reviews. In order to cover this range of material the journal uses a mixture of presentational and reader-friendly styles.
